Enhance Impos and Tevalis Pay at Table integrations by allowing customers to select and pay for individual items directly on Zeller Terminal.
Split by Item is enabled by default; however, specific prerequisites are required for it to function locally on the terminal.
- An active and correctly configured Impos or Tevalis Pay at Table integration must be in place.
- The “Bill at Table” feature must be enabled within the relevant integration.
- The bill retrieved from the Point of Sale (POS) system must not include any table-level discounts or surcharges.

To split items on a bill, follow these steps:
1. From the Bill Summary screen on your terminal, select Split as the charge type.
2. Choose Split by Item from the available splitting options.
3. The Split by Item screen will display all unpaid items on the bill. Select the items the customer wishes to pay for.
4. If an item has a quantity greater than one, use the + and – controls to specify the number of units being paid for in this transaction.
5. When the required items have been selected, tap Confirm.
6. A partial bill will be generated, displaying the selected items and the updated subtotal.
7. Tap Pay Now to proceed to payment, or tap Next if tipping is enabled.
8. Once payment is complete, send a digital receipt to the customer.
9. To process additional payments for the table, tap New Sale. The terminal will return to the Split by Item screen.
10. Repeat this process for each customer until the bill is settled in full.
If necessary, you can pay for all remaining items at once by selecting Select All.
