How do I process a refund on Zeller Terminal?
Refund approved payments on your Zeller Terminal 1 or 2.
You can process either a full or partial refund directly to your customer’s card using your Zeller Terminal.
To begin, sign in to your Zeller Terminal and proceed with the following steps:
- From the main navigation menu, select Transactions.
- Find the relevant transaction using the list or search function.
- Tap the transaction to view its details, then select Refund.
- Choose whether to process a full refund or a partial refund.
- For a full refund, tap Continue to return the entire amount to the original payment card.
- For a partial refund, enter the amount to be refunded and tap Continue. The specified amount will be returned to the card used for the transaction.
Please note, you cannot refund more than the original transaction amount.
Refunds can also be processed from any Zeller Terminal linked to the same site.
To do this:
- Select Transactions from the navigation menu.
- Tap the search icon.
- Enable the Site filter and tap Apply.
- Locate the relevant transaction by scrolling or applying additional filters.
- Tap Refund.
- Choose either Partial or Full refund, then tap Continue.
Please note that it may take 2 to 7 business days for refunded amounts to be processed and credited back to your customer's card.
