How do I process a MOTO payment?

Toggle on MOTO, enter the amount on the keypad and tap Manual Charge.

MOTO payments are ideal for situations where the customer is unable to present their card in person, such as transactions completed by phone or mail order.

Before initiating a payment, confirm that MOTO functionality is enabled on your Zeller Terminal.

After logging into your Zeller Terminal, follow these steps:

  1. Select Take Payment from the navigation menu.
  2. Tap MODE on the top right of the screen and then select MOTO.
  3. The screen will display a blue background, indicating MOTO mode. Enter the amount to be charged using the keypad.
  4. Tap Manual Charge.
  5. The Zeller Terminal will prompt you to enter the customer's card number, expiry date and CVC.
  6. Tap Next. 
  7. Tap Charge to complete the transaction. 

After the payment is authorised, you may offer your customer a printed or digital receipt. If a receipt is not needed, tap New Sale to proceed.
