How do I enable a surcharge to recover my fees?

Total fee surcharging can be enabled from your Zeller Dashboard or Zeller Terminal.

Zeller enables you to surcharge your customers to recover the full cost of card acceptance.

To set a total fee surcharge on your Zeller Dashboard:

Select Payments and then Sites.
Select the site you would like to manage.
Select the Payments tab at the top of the screen.
Toggle on Surcharge my total fees.
Click Save to confirm your changes.

To set a total fee surcharge on your Zeller Terminal:

Select Settings from the navigation menu.
Tap on Site Settings.
Tap on Payments.
Toggle on Surcharge my total fees.

With surcharging enabled, your Zeller Terminal will automatically apply a surcharge to the transaction total you enter, after your customer's card is presented, but prior to any card verification and transaction authorisation steps, such as PIN entry or signature.

The total transaction amount will be displayed on the payment screen and receipt if requested by your customer.
