Understanding 3D Secure

3D Secure (3DS) adds an extra layer of protection for online credit and debit card payments. During checkout on Zeller’s payment page, your customer may be prompted by their bank to verify their identity—either by authorising the transaction immediately or by entering a code sent by the bank. If the customer leaves the payment page without completing the identity check, the payment will be declined and they must re-enter their details.

Zeller uses 3DS on Zeller Invoice, Xero Invoice, and Pay by Link transactions to help reduce fraud and unauthorised payments.
